Overview
This Eco Rangers hike blends hands-on exploration with modern technology! Using a rock identification app, kids will scan and discover the hidden stories inside Mission Trails’ granite cliffs and boulders. We’ll explore how rocks form, how erosion changes them, and how technology can reveal their mineral makeup. The hike also includes group discussions, observation of real climbers, and a fun Rock Cycle Relay to bring geology to life.
